If you’re anything like me, your time with your boo has been a nonstop repeat of Netflix + Chill. If you’re tired of the same ol’ same old, take a look at these quarantine friendly date night tips to spice things up between you.
Maybe I’ve been watching too many romance movies but, taking the time to set up your dining room and order a bit of takeout from your favorite restaurant will give you a small sense of normalcy.
If there’s a time to start an alost never ending game of monopoly – it would be now. Whip out all those old board games that you haven’t touched in a while and set up a friendly game of Chess.
Board game not your speed? Get ultra competitive and hop on some video games. Whether you’re going 1v1 in Call of Duty, or creating a virtual world that you can actually go out in, on The Sims.
Grab the fire pit that you put away and search your fridge for those hot dogs. Heck, even get some marshmallows and chocolate and serve up some s’mores for a good old fashioned romantic campfire with your love!
Just because you can’t go out, doesn’t mean you can’t pamper yourself! All you need is a few face masks, Bath Bombs, and a few aromatherapy candles and you’re all set.
Now, I can’t sing to save my life but, since every single concert in the nation has been either postponed or cancelled. Why not grab your biggest fan and force them join them in your own private concert. At least, you won’t have to pay $8 for a bottle of water.
Who says you need to go out to do a cute sip n’ paint? Reach for your favorite bottle of wine, some paint (heck, even crayons will do) and relax with your boo. Extra TIP – Make it a interesting and follow a good ol’ Bob Ross tutorial.
Not really. Plenty of museums (The louvre, Van Gogh, etc.) are offering free virtual tours of their facilities. This way you and your boo can enjoy a romantic private tour around a museum – without leaving your couch. So even if you never make it to Paris, at least you can say you’ve been visited the Louvre.
I hope this guide gave you a few unique ideas to remind you and your loved ones to have fun during these trying times.
